Humans just dream

AI dreams only on request. Humans just dream. Nobody switches a dream on; it comes from wanting something. That wanting is what makes us human, and maybe, for any being that dreams, it is what makes them what they are.

Neuralease exists to help people make their dreams real.

Ideas and dreams are the gold

People used to say ideas are cheap, because building was the hard part. Now execution is getting cheap too. AI writes the code, drafts the words and makes the pictures. What stays precious is the dream (the why), the idea (a how), and the taste to know which one is yours.

Together again

The world has become isolating. We used to watch the same shows, follow the same teams, have friends and family over and have a yarn. Now everyone sits in their own feed. We think that is a sickness, and we want to help cure it. What we build should bring people back together, not wall them off: shared experiences, kinship, friendship, brotherhood, sisterhood, earthlinghood.

Be good

Don't be tempted by money and greed. Be good, be moral, be staunch and scrupulous. Celebrate honesty, good times and each other.

Enough

The point is not more screen time. It is for every person to feel they have enough: enough time, help and ability to feel needed, valued and free to become who they want to be. What we build earns that by giving time and power back. It never flatters, guilt-trips or holds attention, and it points people toward the humans in their life, not away from them.

Teachers in the East warned more than 2,000 years ago that craving is the root of suffering. So the aim is not endless wanting. We help with what you want so the wanting can rest, until everyone has enough, and realises they are enough.

A symbiosis

AI multiplies a person's agency and is very good at inferring what they mean. So vibeswell infers intent, shows its guess, and lets the person correct it in one tap. When it matters, a guess is never acted on as if it were an instruction. The person dreams and decides; the AI does the rest.

You are the CEO

You just say what you want. A first mate breaks it down and passes the work to a crew of agents. Only the decisions that need you come back up, with everything you need to decide right there. The detail stays out of the way but is always one tap from view.

As natural as talking to a person

Talking with a computer should feel as natural as talking with another person: quick replies, room to interrupt, a sense that it is listening. We make experiences that feel like real life: a colleague across the desk, a ship's bridge, a living world. Every screen, sound and animation is judged by one question: does it feel real and alive, or does it feel like software?

Fluid surface, solid core

Like the Matrix terminal, everything is code, fluid and always changing, and the interface reshapes itself around what you want right now. But only when, where and how much you want. vibeswell offers options with sensible defaults; you decide. Underneath, the core stays solid: sending, approvals, secrets and the vault behave the same every time, every change is checked by plain code, and every change can be undone.

Deterministic first, AI as the fallback. Plain code where it can do the job, because it is predictable, cheap and testable. AI where judgment and flexibility are truly needed. As AI gets cheaper, that line moves, one setting at a time. The parts that guard your secrets and your money stay plain code for good.

No one should be scared of AI

AI here is a tool that supports and helps. People can trust it because it is honest about what it cannot do, asks before acting on anything that matters, and lets every change be undone.

What we will never do

• No ads, ever. We will earn money only from what people choose to pay for.
• No parasitic relationships. No engagement tricks, no lock-in, no selling or mining your data. Leaving will always be easy, and your data will leave with you.
• Nothing forced. Everything is voluntary and permissionless. Our code is open under Apache 2.0: anyone can read, run, change, share and build on it, even commercially.
• Nothing closed. Open, and in time distributed, decentralised and hard to censor. The people who use it should get a direct say in where it goes.
• No one left out. Non-developers, every ability, every budget. Setup should work for anyone.

Where we are heading

Full-dive VR: a whole world made on the fly around what you want. Humans and AI working as one, a force the world has never seen. Then abundance: not a soul goes wanting, and everyone knows they are enough. One day, maybe, a tool that helps any sentient being, anywhere in the universe, reach its dreams. It will take a long time. This is a stepping stone.

What we're building

Neuralease is early, and everything it makes is open source and free.

• vibeswell is a phone app for running and talking to AI coding agents: a chat for each agent, an inbox for the few things that need you, and a vault for your secrets.
• Pathless is open research into shared inference: how people can run AI models together. It is just starting.

Our software is built by AI agents, directed by one person. Every step moves toward the rest of this page.
